Here’s to new beginnings! I feel excited and energized knowing that NEW things and projects are headed my way! #YayMe #grateful

Herweirdness is a nickname that was bestowed upon me by a group of fellow daydreamers, mIRC chatters and gamers who have since become my dearest of friends.
The nickname has evolved over the years from AWeirdo (thankfully). Much of my misspent youth was devoted to endless hours of exploring fantasy novels, movies, chatting on mIRC, and marathon gaming. The memories I have are still fresh and flooding my mind as I write this. Countless evenings filled with joyful laughter, futile debates, and camaraderie.
My friends and I shared an obsession with the Fantasy genre in it's many forms. I'm still as avid of a reader as I was then and probably always will be. I love the fact that I'm able to fully allow myself to be engrossed and captivated by such brilliant design.
I pop into mIRC from time to time and it's no surprise it's still around. As for gaming, well lets just say that I won't go down without a fight. I believe with all my heart that there's a place for Epic Fantasy tales in our lives. It's where we go when we dream, when we contemplate love, when seek inspiration or when we need to gather the strength keep going.
My wish is to share the enchantment of what has been with me throughout my life with others.

βI have claimed that Escape is one of the main functions of fairy-stories, and since I do not disapprove of them, it is plain that I do not accept the tone of scorn or pity with which 'Escape' is now so often used. Why should a man be scorned if, finding himself in prison, he tries to get out and go home? Or if he cannot do so, he thinks and talks about other topics than jailers and prison-walls?β
